This is Alice. She’s bored. Her sister is reading books with no pictures or conversations.
Suddenly, she sees a white rabbit. He’s wearing a jacket and carrying a watch.
She runs after the rabbit.
The rabbit goes down a hole and Alice falls down it too.

At the bottom there is a corridor with a lot of doors. She can't open them.
One door is very small but she can't open it.
Alice finds a key on a table. It opens the door. There is a beautiful garden inside. She wants to go in... but she is too big.
She finds a bottle on the table. It says ‘Drink me’.
She drinks and she shrinks but the key is on the table!!!
She finds a cake that says ‘Eat me’. She grows so big so she can get the key but now she can’t fit through the door.
She cries a lot. She picks up a fan and shrinks again and ends up swimming in her own tears.

There are lots of other animals swimming around in her tears. They have a race to dry off. The race has no rules and Alice has to give out the prizes from what she has in her pockets.
The rabbit thinks Alice is the maid and sends her to the March Hare's house. She grows again until she can't get out of the house. The animals throw stones at her that turn into cakes. The cakes make her shrink again.

She meets a rude caterpillar who tells her the different sides of the mushroom can make her big and small. So she puts different pieces of mushroom in her p. -'5a: ..ockets.

She sees a fish footmen deliver an invitation to the Duchess to visit the Queen.
Alice goes inside and meets the Duchess who has a baby. The cook is angry and throwing plates. Alice looks after the Duchess's baby but it turns into a pig and runs away.

She goes to the Mad Hatter's tea party where it's always tea time. They ask riddles that have no answer.

She finds a door in a tree which leads her to the Queen's garden.

They play croquet with flamingos and hedgehogs and playing cards. Everything keeps moving and there are no rules.
The cat appears. The Duchess who is in prison is sent for. She always talks about morals.

She visits the Gryphon and the Mock Turtle. They show her the lobster dance, tell her about when the Mock Turtle was a real turtle at school and sing 'Beautiful soup'.
She is called as a witness at a ridiculous court trial. The knave of hearts is accused of stealing tarts. Other witnesses include the hatter and the cook. She starts growing and is ordered to leave. She is not afraid. The cards attack her but she tells them, 'You are not real!'

She wakes up and sees the cards are just leaves. She is very happy to see her sister and tells her story.
