Students draw commercial type objects such as beer, ketchup, chips potatoes, cookies ... and more and more. Andy Warhol did pictures of commercial type objects such as Campbell´s soup and Coca-cola. He would repeat the object many times, often over 100 times. Maybe that´s because the things he did in his art actually existed in such large numbers. When he made a painting everyone knew the subject of the painting because it was something o someone that was seen everyday.

Andy Warhol used rubber stamps to create repeated patterns and symbols in his commercial work and in a few of his paintings.In the 1950s Warhol was hired by numerous companies to illustrate their products,and his drawings often combined rubber stamping with a blotted line technique.The images on his rubber stamps included birds, butterflies,fruit and flowers.The finished work contained texture and pattern and was filled with a playfulness that altogether made the products more appealing. Throughout his career, Andy Warhol sought out commercial projects, including silk-screened portraits of fashion celebrities, like Giorgio Armani, and advertisements for luxury perfumes, like Chanel No. 5.
